My name is Megan and I am just the person you're looking for! I am young and active at 23 years old (24 in May). I have the energy that older babysitters don't have to keep up with children. Not to mention, I have a ton of child care experience! I am very punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and have great communication which I feel are necessities when being a nanny/babysitter. I have a huge heart for kids and truly love caring for them and taking care of them. I understand how important your children are to you and with me you wouldn't have to worry about the care your children are receiving. I can assure you I am a great nanny/babysitter and would not treat this position like a job but rather as if your children were my own. I have a clean driving record and have taken courses such as Read more the Child Abuse Course via the YMCA, First Aid, CPR, and have a certificate for passing the INA (International Nanny Association) course. The reason I am looking for a mother's helper position is because I will still be babysitting in the early mornings and late afternoons to evenings in Short Hills and given the rare occurrence the little girl is sick from school that day or has no school scheduled, I will have to stay there to take care of her and won't be able to come to you that day. I usually know in advance (unless she's sick) what days I cannot make it, and it won't happen all the time, but I am looking for a flexible position where I would be able to miss days only if I had to, not all the time. My experiences in my 9 years working with children range from newborns to age 14 years old, both boys and girls. I've worked in a school, camp, and home setting.
