I am a rising senior attending Hollins University. I am currently in pursuit of a B.A. in English & Creative Writing with a double minor in Psychology and Film. I will be home for the summer and am looking for a productive and fulfilling way to spend my time. I grew up in a large family (full of kids and pets), so caregiving comes second nature to me. I love caring for and teaching children, and see it as a truly enjoyable job. I have worked as both a tutor, and a care provider, and have experience looking after a range of ages and large groups of children. I also enjoy completing housework--I don't mind cleaning in the slightest, and will be sure to keep your home spotless! The last family I sat for had four children (6 mo, 3 yrs, 5 yrs, and 11 yrs). Both parents were in Read more residency at a nearby hospital and had me work for 12 hours at a time. Also, the family was a blended one, and the two middle children primarily spoke Spanish. Though it was a hefty job, I enjoyed every minute of it, and really bonded with the children. I have a passion for telling stories and making art, and would be delighted to share that with your children. I'm also an extremely playful, energetic sort of person and would be sure to keep them entertained for as long as necessary! I have a flexible schedule and hourly rate.
