Hello, my name is Nickol and I currently reside in Bergen County, N.J. Working with children has been my passion since I was a young girl. I have babysitted numerous children since a teenager and made my dream of being a teacher in 2002. I attended Caldwell College and graduated with a degree in English/Elementary Education and certifications in Prek-3 K-8 and Special Education. I worked as a Pre-K teacher for twelve years where I created innovative lessons according to Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences and taught a bilingual English/Spanish immersion class. Watching children grow is a wonderful experience as each child is their own individual and learn in different ways. I have also given workshops and been to several professional development workshops to keep up with current techniques and ideas as learning is a life long thing.
