Over the past three years I have been involved in childcare. I have worked with children ages 2-13 as both a counselor and teacher’s assistant. Though my experience with these children I have become very understanding of the difference in developmental stages. As a result, I am well aware of what type of energy I must provide. Similarly, I have been a part of a special needs program for three years thus far. I am confident in my ability to communicate with children and teenagers with special needs. Having this experience has showed me that I am very patient and understanding of others. I have also learned how I can incorporate my bubbly and positive personality into my work with students and adults as well.
