My name is Janei M. Harris and I was born and raised in Monmouth County of New Jersey for over sixteen years of my life and a little over two years in Florida. I am twenty years of age and I have over ten years of experience in Child Care as a Nanny and Babysitter which started for me at a young age. I was always caring after younger relatives and the children of family friends for a duration of my childhood, therefore I take pride in caring for children as if they were my own. As for education I graduated early from high school in Florida in the top percentile of my class with credits at Florida International University. Throughout my high school career I was Vice President of the Student Council and President of the National Science Honors Society which caused me to engage in a variety of Read more community service such as babysitting. I would look after different age groups of children as their parents attended PTA Meetings, parent teacher conferences, etc. I enjoy doing adventurous activities, playing games, solving puzzles,cooking/baking, reading, being outdoors, many others. I volunteered at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Habitat for Humanity at the Restore, and was a teacher with Breakthrough Miami. Although I have many goals in life one is to own several business. One business would be a child care center for parents who work long hours of the day and who can not attend to their children as much as they would like. I am a firm believer that children should began ascending their education at an early age therefore, this child care center would include classrooms that offer different courses such as Spanish, Arts classes, Math, and other courses that would expand their knowledge to its upmost potential. My most recent experience child care was caring after a 6 month year old infant and a ten year old boy in the same setting. Child care included cooking, cleaning, helping with homework, football practice, changing of diapers, and other forms of care that pertained to their wants and needs. Although I am not certified in CPR I do know how to perform it on individuals. Amongst other qualities I am an very experienced and responsible individual with all age groups and truly look forward to meeting you and your family
