I have always loved children, which is why I sought a career as an educator. As the school year comes to a close, I am looking for a way to reenergize and keep active over the summer while continuing to do something I love. Coming from a large family, children have always been a part of my life. However, during college, I worked as a teacher's assistant at a local daycare. There I promoted the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of children from infancy to kindergarten, particularly in the infant and four-year old room. I also kept records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered. In my professional career, I am not only an educator, but a caretaker as well. I supervise my students while creating an educational and stimulating environment for the children to learn. There are a number of Read more qualities I possess, which would make me a great nanny. I am meticulous and show great care in organizing each part of my life as well as the things around me. This trait keeps me on time and on top of all of my duties. Not only that, but it also helps me stay well-prepared for the surprises that life has to offer. I can also be very flexible in regard to scheduling. As I am currently off for the summer, I can step in on short notice or rearrange my own schedule to accommodate the needs of a client. Finally, I would say that I am calm and sensitive. These traits help me recognize and respond to the needs of my environment and respond to them in a way that prevents feels of stress or anxiety.
