I am a 39 year old mother of a 18 year old teenage daughter. In addition to taking care of her, I also take care of my three stepchildren, 19 and 13 year old stepdaughters and 10 year old stepson, every other weekend. I have taken care of children since the young age of 11 years, whether it involved babysitting my cousins or my neighbor's daughters. I have worked in a childcare facility for 2 years, where I worked primarily with pre-toddlers aged 12m to 18m, but I assisted with the various aged groups as well when needed. On occasion, I also babysit a couple of the children from the school on the weekends in the event the parents want an evening to themselves.
