  I am a single mother of 4 adult children--the youngest is a professor at Brown University--and grandmother of seven. I was born and raised as the ninth of fourteen children on Montserrat, in the Caribbean. I am a United States citizen.   I started working as a maid at the age of 14 and moved to Canada, and then the U.S., when I was 23. I worked as a live-in nanny, cook, and housekeeper for families who were throw into turmoil by separation of the parents. When my youngest daughter was in high school, I went back to school and earned my high-school diploma.   In addition to my 4 children I have helped raised 13 other wonderful children. I am very protective of the privacy of the people with whom I have lived and worked. I am honest, reliable, very discreet, energetic, and hard working. I love to laugh. I will be there for you and your children. I will love them, read to them, and along with you, teach them manners and responsibility. I will play with them, laugh and cry with them, and teach them the importance of education--and so much more.   I will also run your household, cook, laundry, beds, and do light housekeeping.   I enjoy writing, exercising, cooking and baking.
