Hi my name is Jackie and I look forward to meeting your family!! I am 25 years old and a third year graduate student pursuing a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Rutgers University. I absolutely love kids and am highly considering working as a pediatric physical therapist once I graduate next May! I have this coming summer off from school and would love to babysit/nanny full time beginning in June. I have been babysitting since the time I was 14 near my home town of Madison, NJ and have a wealth of experience caring for kids of all ages. I have worked at summer camps for elementary school aged children for several summers and love doing anything out doorsy. I also spent much of my high school and college summers watching several sets of families. I watched a family of three boys aged 4, 6, and 10 and we Read more spent much of the year playing games and sports outside, building forts, doing puzzles, going swimming at the pool, going on nature walks/hikes, and I also helped with homework and school projects and drove them to and from sports practices and extracurriculars. I have also watched several other sets of families with boys and girls from elementary school to middle school. We loved to play any made up games and sports outside as well, play at the park, visit museums and the local libraries, go apple or pumpkin picking when the weather was appropriate, go bike riding, and do arts and crafts or bake on rainier days. I also have three older sisters who all have children under the age of five. For the past five years I have been loving and caring for three amazing nieces and two nephews so I feel completely comfortable watching younger kids as well! I have taken several pediatric based/hands on classes in undergrad at Penn State and in my graduate work as well, and I am certified in pediatric CPR/first aid/AED. I am available full time beginning June 3rd until the beginning of September when my clinical rotations start. After this I will be available most nights and weekends. Prior to June 3rd I have a May semester, but I will be available any time on Mondays and Fridays/weekends as well as after 4pm Tues-Thurs.
