Alexis was supposed to come by, meet the cats, and get the lay of the land. 5 minutes before she was scheduled to arrive, she texted that she had transportation issues. We do not live far apart. Instead of letting me know what time she could come or finding a way to come to us (train, Uber, walk...), she stopped responding and left us high and dry for pet care.
