Hi there. My name is Chanel Coetzee and I am currently working as a Au pair in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I have been here for almost a year now and I am getting married 2 July 2015. That is why I am looking for a new job. For the past year I have been looking after 2 girls aged 18 months and 4. I am originally from South Africa and was a nanny there as well, so I have a lot of experience. I am also a pet sitter. My experience with animals is extensive. I worked at a big cat project in South Africa for 4 years. My duties there were animal caretaker, raising cubs, enclosure maintenance, animal enrichment, volunteer coordinator, tour guide, food preperation and working in the giftshop. Also I lead education workshops for surrounding schools. The animals that I cared for were lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, Read more servals and caracals. I love working with both children and animals. I am very active and love playing games, singing songs and especially having dance parties. Walking is one of my favorite things to do. I have also dog sat here in Brooklyn, which included walking the 2 elderly dogs twice a day, feeding them twice a day, grooming and looking after the apartment.
