My name is Megan. I just graduated with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education & English, as well as my teaching license. After some self reflection, I've realized I enjoy the one-on-one connection I get with children through nannying more so than the classroom setting. That being said, I have years of experience with children of all ages, in both private home settings as well as elementary school classrooms. I am comfortable creating weekly lesson plans. I am Red Cross certified in Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid and up to date on vaccinations. My nannying style is a mix of positive parenting techniques, as well as Montessori & RIE philosophies. I love creating an engaging and screen-free environment for kids to explore the world around them. I believe in child-led activities, giving kids choices during conflict rather than traditional discipline, and making space for big emotions.
