Hello! :) My name is Jenny Hays, I am 25 years old, and I am a Teacher's Assistant at a school for children with special needs. I specifically have worked with children who have Autism, and have experience with ABA ( Applied Behavior Analysis ). I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Secondary Education, and Special Education. I also have personal life experience with special needs. I have a sibling who has Asperger's, so special needs has always been a part of my life, and I truly wouldn't have it any other way. I am so happy to go to work every single day, because these kids bring even more to my life than I believe that I bring to theirs. They're such an incredible, beautiful, strong group of individuals and they're all so uniquely wonderful in their own way and every moment spent in their presence is Read more a blessing. I am so honored to be one of the lucky people touched by the lives of those with special needs. I have also babysat throughout the years, and have also been involved with Big Brother Big Sister in years past so I do have a lot of experience also working with children in general. I'm a very lively, energetic, and outgoing individual and I love to keep myself busy and am always keeping myself involved in extra curricular activities. At the moment, I am playing on an adult indoor soccer league. I've always been an active individual so I really enjoy babysitting and getting to express that playful, energetic side with the children I babysit. I consider myself a big kid at heart, which always makes it very easy for me to connect with children and I thoroughly enjoy getting to be a kid again with them! :)
