Hello. My name is Kim. Although I've been working in the corporate and non-profit world for some time, I'm returning to my real passion - caring for children! I have a Bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education. In the past, I've worked as a live-in nanny, caring for 2 children, ages 3 and 6. I have also provided care for several years to a 10-month-old and her brother, when he was only 6 weeks old. When children are present, I'm usually the first adult on the floor, ready to play with them. My philosophy: I believe in providing nurturing care while maintaining the values and parenting style that you have established for your children. I love reading stories, singing nursery rhymes, going outdoors, and doing art projects. Being bored is something that never happens when I provide care. Another extremely important aspect of providing care is making sure to communicate with you about your child or children. I accomplish this by keeping a daily journal to ensure that continuity of care is maintained. It is also important for me to stick to the normal routines of the house, and make sure that your child or children are well taken care of.
