   I believe in nurturing with a smile and and a light heart.  Children need love and need to know that they are loved, and respected for their thoughts and feelings while learning their limits within their family. I have many years of paid experience, while raising my own daughters, identical twin girls and a singleton girl. They are now grown, successful women in their twenties. I have included in this post my most resent position and a reference from that position. I have completed a nanny position that I had from the time the baby boy was 3 months old to 2.5 years old. We were able to grow together as he learned me and I, him. We enjoyed many happy hours together, while letting MOM and Dad have the piece of mind to work outside of the home. During my second year, Dad started to work from home, Read more which was a easy transition for the baby, myself and Dad to make. The baby and I were always taking walks, going to the park, reading together, and just having a good time. Naps were never ignored, when he was an infant it was 2 a day, as he got older 1 x daily after lunch, which I did prepare for him. I had to leave that position due to a personal medical procedure I needed to have done. That situation was really a win win situation because I was able to leave, and Mom and Dad were able to put their son in day care with school in his future. I now babysit for them and enjoy the time I have with all of them!  I have to admit, my first love is babies and always will be. I can be flexible and work with you as far as days and times. As you are the parent, I feel that it is important for you to let me know what my boundaries are, and what is expected of me as the caregiver. I want to be an extension of mom and dad not someone who comes in with their own ideas of raising and rearing a child. At this time I am looking for a part time position as I do have previous commitments with some of my own family members. My other restriction is going over the bridge to Philadelphia, and out lying suburbs, that I CAN'T do.
