I have had a great deal of experience caring for children. I worked for two years as a counselor at an overnight summer camp where I cared for children between the ages of 9 and 15. My responsibilities included not just supervising and assisting with everyday activities (i.e. waking up, meals, and bed time) but also teaching classes to children ranging from dance and guitar to swim lessons and arts and crafts. In addition to my experiences as a camp counselor, as a high school and college student I babysit periodically for several different families both in my home and college towns. I love spending time and building rapports with kids. Along with care giving, I have tutored high-school age students in both English and Spanish.
