I have been caring for children for over 10 years. I have experience with infants, toddlers, and young children. I also have special needs experience (Autism and ADHD), so I am very familiar with ABA and other types of behavioral therapy, as well as OT and Speech Therapies. I'm a very patient and caring person, so I'm able to handle various behavioral issues that may come up. I truly enjoy what I do, not only because I love kids but because I know I'm good at my job. Typical activities I enjoy doing with children are going to the park and on walks, doing arts and crafts, going to various kids play spaces, reading books either in the home or at the library, and overall giving them undivided attention. I'm not the type of person who would automatically put on the TV, and I'm not constantly on my phone - Read more I'm much more interactive than that. I'm a happy, optimistic person and I'm looking to work with a family that is similar. I have my own reliable transportation with a clean driving record. I don't smoke. I'm CPR certified, and I have a college degree. I own a small web-based company, but am looking to babysit for some extra income while my husband finishes school. I've recently become a mom myself so I understand how hard it is to leave your child with someone you don't know. Ideally, I would like to bring my daughter with me to work - she is very happy and easy-going, and would love a playmate. . I have plenty of excellent references and tons of experience.
