I never had any intentions on becoming a nanny the same way my older sister never had any intentions of becoming a mother of two under two years olds. With my sister and her husband both working full time it required all hands on deck to take care of her little ones. My sister being 10 years older than me spent much of her adolescent years looking after me and I was happy to return this favor for her! As my neice and nephew grow older the responsibilities of poopy diapers, feedings, and naps have changed to day care picks ups, potty training, and reading time (of a book we already read enough to memorize). I enjoy the trips to the YMCA for swim class and singing and watch Baby First marathons. I prepared no sugar added meals for the children at the request of my sister for breakfast, lunch, Read more and dinner. Straightening up after a day of activities with the children and bath time was always followed by caring for my sisters older "children" a cat named Bruno and a dog named Peanut. I look forward to using what I have learned during my first 2 1/2 years as Aunt Joelle for a special family in north NJ.
