My name is Eileen. I am the proud mother of three grown children who are successful, happy adults. I have two adorable granddaughters. When I was a single, working mother, I learned how important it was to find the right person to care for your children in your absence. Five years ago, my first granddaughter was born with a rare birth defect, and my daughter needed my help. I left my job to take care of her, while my daughter worked. Her care involved the management of: oxygen, feeding tube, physical therapy, and various medications. I attended classes at Children Hospital of Philadelphia to learn how to handle her complex needs. She is now a thriving, energetic, and intelligent four-year-old. Caring for her was, by far, the most gratifying experience of my life. For the past two years, I have had the privilege to provide childcare for two families. I Read more like to plan an agenda for the day, incorporating the family’s preferences with some of my ideas. These include: outdoor games, healthy snacks, board games, walks, bike rides, learning games, tent building, nap time routine, dance parties, singing, tea parties, and seasonal activities. I understand that life can be hectic for working families. In addition to the childcare, I am able to provide help with simple household chores such as: light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
