Hi, My name is Samantha and I'm a student at Montclair State University. I am a Psychology major in the Elementary Education Program at my school (K-6 Single Certification). I have taken Education Psychology, Child Development, Philosophical Education, Perspectives of Early Childhood and have worked in classrooms with children as well as taught in a daycare so I'm well informed on how to work with kids and how to understand them/their specific needs. I love babysitting because I can work with children, do what I love and prepare for my future profession. I'm willing to come meet your family at your home or we can plan a place to meet up if that seems like a more desirable option. I'd love to get to know you in person so you have a better idea of who I am and how your child(ren) and I will interact. I have reliable transportation, Read more have class 10-8pm on Mondays, and 10-12:45pm on Wednesdays, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I have off fully however I am signed up for an online course. I do have my substitute teaching license so if you only need me a few days I will be doing that on a free day. Including non paying jobs, I've been babysitting for 7 years and have worked with children of all ages. I've been teaching children for almost a year, have worked with children who have down syndrome, behavioral issues, slight autism & ADHD. I can understand, read & write Spanish well and am somewhat fluent. I'm half Italian and half Hispanic but wasn't raised around the Hispanic culture so my speaking skills are not as strong as my reading and writing skills. I'm caring, responsible and would care for your child as if they were my own. I hope you find an interest in me and I look forward to meeting you!
