I am 32 years old, married with no children of my own. I have been a Nanny since 2012 and after taking a break, I want to go back to doing what I love. I am the kind of nanny who makes your children and your home my priority. I love my work so much that it doesn't feel like a job but a chance to be a part of a wonderful experience and impact young lives in a positive way. I have been a Nanny and taking care of children since I was 14 but I have worked full time for 8 families in the past 6 years while I lived In NJ. I am now in NY and I am looking for another family to be a part of. I have cared for children ranging in age from 10 months to 14 years old, 1 to 4 children Read more at once and have experience with twins (infant and toddlers). I can help children with early developments: potty training, language, numbers and letters and all minor and major motor skills. Education is very important to me. I take joy in making learning fun. I will teach and work on homework/tutoring with all age groups. I am trained for this from teaching a Preschool program, taking Child Development, Child Psychology and Teaching courses in college. I have my own car with a spacious back seat for three and a car seat hook up system. I want to be active as possible with the children depending on their age and abilities. I like to play games, do crafts, encourage using imagination to play. I like to play outdoors and go for walks (if weather permits) or anything to keep the child active and entertained. While I am not against technology, I am not a "TV babysitter" and don't bring or use any devices to work (except my phone so I am reachable to the parents) because while I work my complete focus is the children and home. I also help around the home: dusting, vacuuming, moping, laundry, errands, cooking, etc., to give the parents a break and contribute to my environment. When I approach a job I take my responsibilities very seriously and make sure they are completed but at the same time I take joy in them. I know children demand a lot of attention but the work is always so rewarding as time goes on. You get to watch them grow and know you helped form who they are becoming. I love pets. I own 2 rabbits right now who are very friendly and have owned horses, cats and dogs in the past. I will care for your pets if needed. I am available any time of the day or evenings and driving distance is no problem either. I am a responsible and loving person who wants to be a part of a good family.
