Hi Everyone! My Name is Chris and I am looking for a fun & energetic family who needs a male nanny, or a "manny" as I call myself, to take care of their children. I just recently graduated from Montclair State University in May of this year where I majored in Elementary Education and I currently hold a NJ Teaching License for Kindergarten-6th grade and Middle School English. I had every intention of becoming an Elementary School Teacher after graduation, but I have decided to further my education now while I have the momentum going and I will be starting an online Master's program in January to become a School Librarian. I student taught in a 4th grade classroom in West Caldwell and I frequently substitute teach for the Wanaque School District so I have a lot of experience with teaching and children and I am more than capable to Read more help with homework. I also was a camp counselor at Spring Lake Day Camp in Ringwood for 2nd grade boys so I have a lot of experience in supervising activities, care giving and, and outdoor activities. I love the outdoors, playing baseball, swimming, bowling, and riding bikes. For when it's cold during the winter, I also enjoy playing board games, video games, and card games. I think I would be a great fit for any family, especially if you are looking for a male caregiver because there aren't a lot of males in this field. I have a genuine love for children and I know when I was younger I would have loved to have a male babysitter so I'm sure there are a lot of kids out there who would love it also! I have my own SUV, a clean driving record, and I have no problem with transporting kids to and from school and after school activities. Caring for pets, meal prep, errands, and laundry are okay with me also- If I survived college to be a teacher I'm sure I can survive doing some family errands and laundry also.
