I am Madisyn Carter and Syracuse University freshman from NJ. I am the oldest of five with my siblings ranging from nine years old to eighteen years of age, Therefore I have always been around young children and watching them grow. I have always babysat my siblings throughout the years as well as babysat cousins who were newborns up to children entering middle school. I was a nanny for two girls (10 years old and 12 years old) during the summer of 2012. However, I did not stay at their house being that they lived a matter of ten minutes away. I would cook for them as well as drive them to activities they were involved in. We would play soccer in the back yard and crafts and baking cookies and cakes were an everyday event. During High School I would watch two young boys (ages 2 and 4 when Read more I started) for 12 hours a day on the weekends, waking them up, bathing them and cooking breakfast lunch and dinner for them. Also, taking them swimming when the summer months came around. Arts and Crafts are my specialty and I love being outdoors and playing fun games is something I always look forward to when it comes to being with children. Also, during senior year of high school I would pick up two young boys (6 years old and 9 years old) off the school bus and after snack time homework was always finished and then playing at the park across the street and neighborhood friends was an everyday routine. One of the boys had a muscle disorder where i had to help him off the bus with his walker and helped him with going to the bathroom and with homework. I am CPR certified and I am involved on campus with a sorority, Alpha Phi, and I was involved in high school with numerous organizations and clubs.
