My little sister was born when I was 9 and from then on, I loved being around children. I always loved helping my mom take care of my sister, so I became a safety town counselor and enjoyed the time I spent teaching them. Once I started high school, I joined a class called child development and you get to work with 10 children ages 3-5 in a preschool setting. I have done that for 2 years and then, I was actually able to go into schools to teach children. I also volunteered on a camping trip for 3 days with 5th grade students and loved talking with them and being a role model for them as well.
