Hello dear family. My name is Maria and I'm 30 years old. If you are searching for a reliable, trustworthy, loving and caring nanny/babysitter for your little angels then you have found the right candidate! I have been providing high quality care for children of different age groups for over six years. During this time I have worked with three different families without any significant breaks in between. I am currently moving to NJ just outside of Manhattan and I'm seeking a position closer to home. My first experience was in Florida when I used to take care of a sweet, adorable and very independent 1 year old girl named Alyssa. Her family had a big dog so I feel very comfortable being around animals as well. From there I moved to New York and worked for a family from Long Island helping to bring up their wonderful twins. They Read more were only 11 months old when I joined their family and I looked after them until they turned 4! The last family I worked for I took care of two very active boys, 3 and 6 years old. During my tenure the family welcomed a baby boy and I gained the experience of taking care of a precious newborn! This cutie is now about to turn 1! As you can see from my experience I feel comfortable watching multiple kids of different age groups. I keep in touch with the families I've worked for and can provide great references upon request. I love and enjoy spending time with the kids. Besides interacting with them, reading to them and playing intellectual and developmental games, my usual duties in the families included but were not limited to - taking the children to and from different activities by either driving, taking the bus or subway, supervising them in and outside the house, helping with the kids laundry, light housekeeping and light cooking. I'm smoke and drug free, healthy and active. I have a valid drivers license. In my free time I enjoy reading classical literature, studying subjects that interest me or taking walks with my camera. My former families would describe me as a reliable, honest and loving with a good sense of humor who truly enjoys being surrounded by kids.
