Hello dear Parents!! My name is Patricia (30 years old). I am a student at Hunter College working towards to earn my second bachelor degree. I live in UES and love the area. My native tongue is Portuguese. I speak English and Spanish (I studied Spanish in Brazil for 3 years, as well as English for 5 years and I have been living and going to school in New York for almost 2 years now). Besides school, I am into Yoga and meditation and I am completely fascinated about self-knowledge and Philosophy! I am extremely active and love being outside. About my work experience: I worked in a day care as a Teacher's Assistant for 3 years. The teacher and I had responsibilities such as: bath, feeding, changing diapers, playing, reading, singing, arts and crafts, engage them in diverse kinds of activities everyday. The children were from the age of Read more 6 months to 6 years old. Back in NYC I used to work for a family in Manhattan baby sitting the most adorable girl. She was 18 months old at that time. I still do some occasional baby sitting when they need me. After that I worked for a family in the Upper East Side with 2 awesome boys (6 and 8 years old) for two years. They were for two years my best friends and with whom I had the most amazing time and experiences! They have all my heart! My responsibilities were: picking them at school, shower, snacks, dinner, take them to activities after school, homework, read, being very active and staying outside as much as we could and put them to bed. I think rules and routine are extremely important for a positive development. I also think that the rules and routine have to be managed with love and patience.
