Hi I'm Lorraine. I'm from Brazil. I have a Foreign Trade Associate's degree by the University Anhanguera of Santo Andre, Sao Paulo, Brazil. I realize how important it is to find someone who is a great fit for you and your family, and I couldn't understand that more. We are both on the same page when it comes to that, trust me. I'm an incredibly genuine and honest person interested in getting to work and form a relationship with a family! Since an early age, I have always been passionate about teaching and helping children. When I was 16, I began working as a part-time English teacher at a small school with children ranging in age from 5 to 12 years old. I worked there for two years until I matriculated to the University of Santo Andre (a college in Sao Paulo, Brazil) and earned an Associate's degree in Foreign Read more Trade, Also on weekends I helped as a childcare Assistant in my Church for almost a year. Kids of all ages. I helped to develop kid’s activities, snacks and keep the organization of the classroom. Because of my love for caring for children, however, I decided to come to the US as an Au Pair through agency. I arrived in June, 2014, and I have spent the last year caring for the son of a senior executive mom in a great family. I’d be happy to provide references as well as meet or chat on the phone. During my year as an Au Pair, I took care of a 7-year-old boy, 2 dogs (Golden Retriever and English Shepherd), a cat and lived with the family. I loved it so much that I decided to continue caring for children either as a full or part-time, weekdays or weekends. I have a certification in Red Cross First Aid and CPR training. I'm a Portuguese native speaker, speak advanced English (Level C1), and intermediate Spanish (Level B1) -- Based on the Online Placement Test of Oxford University Language Center.
