Good day! Caring and compassion is my nature. I'm your Mrs. Doubtfire but with a healthier, calmer lifestyle. I've been an independent contractor as a personal care assistant for the elderly for the past 20 years as well as a licensed massage therapist. I've recently moved to the Henderson area to be closer to my daughter who transferred to UNLV. (from Reno of 37 years.) Since I have no grandchildren, I'm wanting to start caring for children now. I successfully raised two great daughters as a single parent. I consider being a parent (as well as a nanny) to be THE most important job we will ever have. It takes a village to raise emotionally and physically healthy children. I began taking care of kids when I was 12 and continued for several years into high school years. I'm currently studying some early childhood development material. I have taken CPR classes in the past but I'm not current. If this is desired, I will do so. Although I don't have current references with a former nanny situation, I do have excellent references with the former family of 4.5 years I was with (caregiving) as well as personal and professional references. I carry my own accidental and liability insurance and have had many background checks in keeping with compliance as a licensed massage therapist.
