My name is Becca and I've been working with kids my entire life. I grew up with little sisters over a decade younger than me, so I have been there through all of the stages from burping to kindergarten. I have worked as a babysitter for a over year for a little boy who was 6-7 and who had severe Asperger, so I am very comfortable dealing with any form of disability. The last two years I've been nannying for a baby girl full time. She's just starting preschool so it is time for me to find another family who needs my help fulltime. I have tutored professionally before and spent last year working as an art and culture enrichment teacher at an elementary school in my hometown. I'm an advanced Spanish speaker and love sharing my passion for the language with kids. I have lived and worked abroad in Read more multiple countries. I've lived in India and England as an exchange student, and worked in Costa Rica in Turtle conservation for a while. I spent this last summer studying Transatlantic Relations at Wake Forest University. I love learning and cultures - something I am more than willing to share. While I am taking a break from college to write and work for a while, that does not mean I do not intend to return. The reason I wish to work as a babysitter again is because I want to return to college and get a degree in education. I adore children and want nothing more from life than to have half a dozen myself and teach at a public school. As far as who I am, I am a healthy eater (full vegetarian) and very active. I know Chicago has some harsh winters, but that will not stop me from getting your children outside to play. I love reading and cannot wait to tear your children away from the TV for some good ol' story time. I really enjoy painting and crafts. I am responsible, organized, and an overachiever.
