This quote sums me up! I am an educator who loves to teach children. Sharing my interests as well as cultivating their interests. Paying close attention to developmental milestones. I want to put out well rounded individuals in the world. Sharing my interests and cultivating their interests! Some of my interests are: anything in the Fine Arts, swimming, biking, hiking, nature, visiting historical homes/ places, photography, learning new things, creating art, and traveling. Qualification: * 28 plus years experience:ages newborn - 19 years old; twins, allergy issues, divorce, and have done live-in/ live-out positions. * First aid, and CPR certifications. * Extensive knowledge in providing long-term childcare,as well as meal planning/preparation/clean-up,and grocery shopping or errands.Teaching manners and good behaviors,while when necessary disciplining them in a positive fashion.Organizing creative play,learning activities and outings that will enhance the child/children's overall development.Tidying up,supervising bath time,chores,driving to scheduled doctor appointments and or playdates. * Excellent communication skills, highly motivated reliable, trustworthy, devoted, passionate, fun loving, dedicated, and a great team worker. * I have worked for approximately 7 families during the course of my career. * Excellent letters of recommendation! * High school diploma and 3 years of college - Fine Arts Major and a Photo Minor. *I have done extensive traveling in the United States - 30 states,(also to Italy) w/ family's & more on my own! * US born citizen; English is my first language * Excellent driving record & NO criminal history Lastly, I am still in touch with some the kids who I have cared for. Continuing to watch them grow and experience liked! I am most proud of what it has meant to them, my caring for them - a role model, a sweet 16th birthday celebration candle lit for me! I love them and they are family to me!
