Hello, families! I am an actor who has been living in the city for a little over a year working for families who need last minute help. I work for a range of ages from 3 months to teenagers. Before moving to NYC I was a full-time nanny in Boston where I worked with a range of ages and needs. My infant experience includes preemie experience and multiples. I worked for a family full-time with a 9-month-old boy who was three months premature. I had a wonderful time working with them, and their son made some tremendous progress during our time together. I worked directly with their Early Intervention program to help their son learn to roll over, crawl, and practice his tummy time. Before that, I was a full-time nanny for a couple families. One being a 5-month-old girl and 4-year-old boy. The other a 3-year-old girl and 8-year-old Read more boy, including drop off and pickup from elementary school and dog and cat care. I also provided light cooking, housekeeping, and baby food prep. I have ten years of childcare experience, five of which were spent working at a summer camp as head counselor to a group of about 20 3-5-year-olds. At the summer camp I worked with many children with learning differences, as well as children with emotional problems, issues with anger, and physical problems (diabetes). I also work as an actor and theater educator so I love to play pretend and do creative projects. I teach acting classes to children ranging from 5th grade to just graduated high school at professional theaters and colleges.
