I am a student in the Accelerated Second Degree Program for Nursing at Hunter College. I graduated with a BA from Fordham University 5 years ago but have decided to change career tracks. I am looking for a part time job for while I am in school for the next 18 months. For the last 2 years as I prepared for the nursing program I worked as a babysitter for a 10 year old boy. I picked him up from school each day and assisted him with his homework, brought him to his activities, arranged and supervised play dates and did some light housekeeping. I also have experience with teenagers from working in Cambodia leading service trips for American teenagers. I have worked as a full-time nanny for a girl from 3 months until she was 12 months. I also have experience babysitting multiple toddlers. I served as a volunteer in the Peace Corps Read more working as an eighth grade English teacher in Micronesia. I organized and supervised a girls 4 day sleepover camp while abroad. I enjoy watching active kids that like board games, puzzles and playing outside.

Erica has been an outstanding nanny and babysitter for our son for 2 years. She is responsible, flexible, and balances being caring and firm - all key with a two career family and a ten year old who needs structure to get homework, piano, and chores done. Erica was a nanny for my 18-month-old boy/girl twins for a week while my regular nanny was on vacation. I was very happy with her work. She is enthusiastic, responsible, and was good at learning our family's routine. She played with the twins, fed them, put them down for naps, and cleaned up after them. She even came to work during an incredible snowstorm!
