I have extensive experience working with school age children and teenagers. Since September 2011 I have been a childcare provider in private homes. Most of these positions have been after school sitter jobs. I helped the children with their homework, drove them to after school activities and prepared their dinner. The other type of position has been date night sitter jobs. At both type positions in addition to supervising bedtime routines, I would initiate activities with the children such as playing games and doing arts & crafts. My other positions where I worked with children were; a school aide in a public middle school, the coordinating supervisor of this school's recreation program, a youth counselor in group homes and in the dormitory of a residential middle-high school, a cabin counselor at a summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings and an activity leader/resident assistant at an ESL (English Read more as a Second Language) school for international teenage students.
