Hello everyone! . From a young age, being that I am the eldest of 8 siblings, my mother counted on me to help care for the family. My mother was also a foster mother so there always children of all ages, backgrounds and cultures becoming apart of the family through out my upbringing. There isn’t a time I can remember that I didn’t love being a big sister and my love for children grew everyday. Every chance I could I volunteered for homework help positions, tutoring sessions and babysitting the children of family or family friends. After high school I dedicated almost 2 years teaching, mentoring and tutoring children from K - 5th grade as an Americorp volunteer. I took classes in Early Childhood Development and Newborn Care to gain more knowledge in child development to ensure that I can care for all aspects of a child’s growth and development. Read more I am CPR/AED certified for adults and toddlers and infants, I can prepare healthy and delicious allergy free or vegan meals if needed and I have also cared for disabled children through CDPAP.
