I absolutely love children, and look forward to finding the perfect family to work with long-term. I enjoy outdoor activities, however can be very creative at coming up with fun and educational activities for a rainy day. I babysat for multiple families throughout my high school career, and was able to balance activities, meal prep, homework, and bed-time routines. In college I earned my degree in psychology, and excelled in classes focusing on child development and social learning. I took a job in child protection after college, and took master's level classes on child development. In my previous employment, I mostly dealt with children in emergency and traumatic situations, and had to react quickly to comfort and care for the child in less than ideal circumstances. I am CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross. I am comfortable doing housework, cooking, errands, and other reasonable household requests on top Read more of caring for the children. I am comfortable with any and all animals. I have my own transportation (2015 Honda CRV) for use on the job as well. I have numerous professional and personal reference which I will happily give inquiring families.
