My name is Nicole and I'm a very experienced babysitter/nanny. To tell you a little about myself at age 16 I started to work for a very hard-working single mother of two, she had a newborn that was born with colic and a 9-year-old with a speech impediment. I cooked, cleaned, and made sure the children were well taken care of and entertained. Caring for both children had its challenges but it gave me so much growth as a sitter. I loved what I did. I still till this day babysit her children when needed and it's been 6 years. I have volunteered at after-school programs, school field trips, and camps since I was 12 along with many other nanny jobs afterward. As I got older I knew taking care of children would fulfill me more than any regular job could so at age 18 while balancing a full-time job Read more I became an assistant instructor for Grand Master B.M.K. Tae Kwon Do school. I assisted the head instructor of the school to motivate and teach children discipline. Went on to then help run their summer camp of 20 students. The experience was amazing. I learned how to deal with a much higher volume of children at once while also having the chance to have fun with them, which was great! Pools, playgrounds, movies, museums, we did a little bit of everything. I helped parents get what it was they were looking for out of the experience which was a happy, disciplined child that enjoyed their summer days. I gave tips and informational tools to the parents that would allow an even better relationship between the child and parent because children tend to open up to the sitter. Let's face it children can be a little tough at times. I used every experience I faced as a learning experience so your child could have the best babysitter/nanny they can have. I'd say some of these experiences in my life along with others make me the perfect candidate to take care of your child/children, not to mention I am the oldest of 5 siblings so I am constantly learning new ways to make myself better every day.
