I have been a Professional Nanny for over 10 years. I have worked with children of all ages from 3 months to 18 years. I have worked with multiples of up to 5 children at a time. I also have experience with twins and with triplets. My experience as a Nanny has included caring for the needs of infants and toddlers, which included changing diapers, giving feedings, teaching them how to be verbal, and playing interactively with them to assist in their gross and fine motor development. I was also responsible for cleaning up after them and doing their laundry. I also worked with school age children from 6 to 18, where I assisted them with homework, tutoring, and school projects. I also assisted in some household chores such as the family laundry, making beds, cooking for the children, and cleaning up after the children, and making sure the children did their chores and cleaned their rooms. My other responsibilities working with children included maintaining a safe and consistent environment for children to grow, learn and develop. I was very interactive with the children I have worked with, often engaging them in indoor activities such as puzzles, board games, wii sports, etc; and outdoor activities such as playing hockey, basketball, baseball, going for walks, and to the park, etc. I, myself, enjoy staying interactive and enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, rollerblading, and going to the beach. I also have pet experience with dogs, cats and birds. I assisted in feeding the animals, or making sure the children did, cleaning out kitty litter and bird cages, and often walked dogs. I am a huge animal lover. I have an Associate's Degree in Social and Behavior Sciences. I also have recent certification in Child CPR. I have a valid, clean, New York Driver's License, and experience driving with children.
