As a babysitter/nanny I enjoy caring for children, it's very rewarding. One being that it brings joy to my life, being around children. When caring for children you have to carry a lot of patience, love and compassion which is something that I have. In the near future, I hope to pursue a career in "Pediatric Occupational Therapist." I want to gain as much experience working with kids as I possibly can. I've been a caregiver for a few years now and it's been amazing. The families, I've worked for have truly been the amazing. I've been very lucky! I try to work to my best ability, very dependable and responsible. I am very understanding, and self-confident. Which are important qualities to have when caring for children. I've also worked for a few families whenever there was needed for a backup sitter/nanny. The children I've cared for have been amazing, Read more I've gained such an Immense love for the kids. I truly love being a caregiver for numerous of reasons one being the experience, I've gained. The love and connection that is shared and the responsibilities which helped me grow so much as a person. I've learned what it's like to care for kids the patience, the love and how much you learn from the kids. If I can be honest about one thing it would be that personally for me, I didn't see it as a job because I loved it that much. When you truly have a passion for a job you don't see it as a "Job". It was something I looked forward to everyday the children were a delight. As far as training and certifications, I have: - First Aid/CPR/AED certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
