I have worked as a nanny in NYC for the past 20 years, and most recently for the past eight years for one family looking after their two children (ages 8 and 3). I've worked with them since their oldest was a newborn eight years ago. Prior to that I worked for two families, each for five to six years. I am extremely patient and caring and have experience working with newborns, toddlers and school age children. With newborns I am mindful of feeding and napping schedules and have helped families transition through childhood milestones – bottles, solid food, potty training, etc. For older children, I have experience taking them to and from school, extracurricular activities and the park during school breaks. In addition to looking after children, I am comfortable performing light housekeeping, laundry and cooking (for the children only).
