Hello My name is Cindy Ortiz! I am currently a Spanish teacher in a private school in NYC. I've been working with children for six years and also did volunteering abroad during the summer in Dominican Republic. I graduated from Brooklyn College with my B.A in Special Education and Early Childhood Education Birth-2nd grade and a B.A is Children’s Studies. Growing up I have always wanted to get into a career that involved helping people in some way, yet I was not sure of what area or angle to go with my humanitarian instincts. I loved learning about the mind of a child and the different teaching approaches to use with kids. The whole field fascinated me and I realize this is where I can see myself grow.
