I have always had a passion for young and school-aged children. During the year I am a Kindergarten teacher for the DOE. Before that, I taught 1st grade in Virginia for 3 years. During my downtime I enjoy participating in a variety of physical activities such as jogging, biking, hiking, and kayaking. I also enjoy cooking (even the grocery shopping part!) and researching new recipes to try! I enjoy spending time with my dog, Tessie, who loves to go for walks and explore (sniff!) Brooklyn with me. I've lived in many different places, including Pennsylvania, Arizona, New Jersey, Virginia, and currently New York City! I'm looking for a family that needs help periodically in the late afternoons/evenings and weekends, so it doesn't interfere with my teaching schedule. A set weekly schedule would be great, but not necessary. I look forward to hearing from you!
