Hi! I'm Nicole. I'm 24 years old and originally from Miami, FL. I attended college at NYU and graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in studio art. I recently left my job at the children's unit of Four Winds, a psychiatric hospital just outside NYC. Most of the patients required special needs attention emotionally and academically, and as I worked with them, I developed a high degree of patience as well as skill in soothing and nurturing distressed kids. I additionally learned how to calmly redirect behavior and de-escalate tantrums without creating a stressful, negative atmosphere. Through my education in the field of psychology, I am well-versed in the stages of child development and key ways to encourage creative and academic thriving. In my personal life, I love to cook, make art, garden, and do yoga.
