Hi, I'm Kay and I would love to be your nanny. I have 12 plus years of childcare experience, with 9 of those years working in a professional setting. My experience includes 2 years as a preschool teacher in a daycare center; working as a nanny full-time; babysitting part-time and volunteering with children's groups in church. I am a patient, kind and high energy individual with a strong work ethic. I believe that children are a family's greatest assets. After many years of working in fields varying from banking to beauty, I decided to take a risk and follow my passion, children! I have always loved children and enjoy being in their company, as well as teaching them. I have worked with children ranging in age from newborn infants to 11 years old and I am comfortable meeting all aspects of their daily needs. My responsibilities have included meal preparation Read more and feeding; diaper changing; bath time routines; laundry and tidying of children's spaces; play dates; organizing age appropriate activities; homework assistance; lesson planning and much more. I am an avid reader who loves music, drama, traveling and the outdoors. I am always excited to share these interests with children through story time, music and movement activities, playtime at the park and outings to the zoo and other places of interest. I am family oriented and value my relationships with relatives and friends. I consider myself blessed when a bond is formed between myself and the children in my care.

If I could give more than 5 stars to Kay, I would. She has been with us for a year, and if not for a move across the country, we would never let her go! As first time parents, it was nerve-wracking to go back to work after 3 months with such a little baby at home, but Kay made the process smooth. She has excellent judgement and a wealth of experience spanning across multiple ages. I could focus on work during the day knowing my daughter was not only safe, but having fun! She cooked age-appropriate meals for our daughter as she grew, and also sought out fun activities to do during the day- like music class, story time, gymnastics, and play dates! I truly believe Kay has been an integral part of our daughter growing into a happy, healthy and smart little 15 month old! Whoever gets Kay as their nanny next is very lucky!
