I've always taken care of my brothers and sisters while growing up and as an adult, I have spent the past 6 years helping to raise my niece and regularly babysitting my brothers three children. I have done everything from helping with daily homework assignments, cooking and packing lunches, to taking care of them when they are sick. My niece and I have a special bond and I had her painting before she could talk. As she grew older, we enjoyed spending time outdoors. I would pick her up from school and take her to parks, playgrounds and waterfronts. We loved spending time in nature and finding crabs under rocks and frogs in ponds. I always made sure to show her the things which I enjoyed as a child. I wanted her to appreciate nature, and I always try my best to teach her empathy for others. Because of the Read more relationship and trust I've built with my niece, other families have entrusted me to take care of their children as well. I'm also an artist and designer who moved to the city about a year ago to expand my creative connections and learn more about the art scene in New York. I love doodling, drawing, and painting and would enjoy sharing that with children because I truly believe it helps them grow their imagination.
