Hello! I am a former UPK and Art teacher with a deep love and passion for working with children. My childcare experience began over 25 years ago and has included teaching, nannying, camp counseling, before and after-school care, daycare, and babysitting. I have cared for every age from babies to teenagers, but I particularly enjoying working with children between 2 and 5 years old. Professionally, I have undergraduate and graduate coursework in child development and currently hold a Master's in Art Education. When children spend time with me, they learn to enjoy reading, the arts, imaginative thinking, and exploring. My personal childcare philosophy is to always use best practice in safety and developmentally appropriate activities. I am looking to meet a family to care for your children during the summer and/or part-time time in the evenings during the school year. I can provide excellent references as well.
