Hello! My name is Johanna. I am 26 years old, and I am set to graduate from Tufts University this May with my Master's degree in Art History and Museum Studies. I have 4 years of experience as a nanny, caring primarily for infants and children under two. Through my museum work, I also have extensive experience working with children of all ages in educational and creative capacities. My perfect day consists of art and kids! I am looking to nanny for the summer in the Boston/Cambridge/Somville area. My schedule is open and flexible, save for 10 hours a week devoted to my internship with the education department at the Museum of Fine Arts, where I get to make art with families, and create fun learning materials! For the past year and a half, I have been the nanny for a little girl, Lilah, from age 3 months to the Read more present. Before moving to Somerville for graduate school, I was a nanny for two little boys in NYC, both under 1 year. In college, I was a nanny for a little boy for two years, also beginning when he was under 1. So much happens in the first two years of a child's life, it was a wonderful experience to watch each of these infants wake up to the world and become little people! I have experience with all elements of infant care, including feeding, sleep scheduling, changing, child proofing, and developmental milestones. I am familiar with educational theory have a foundation in child development. I am a creative person, with training in several artistic mediums and a whole treasure trove of craft ideas. I am also an avid reader and enjoy sharing this love with children. I am happy to help out with light housework, laundry, and errands. I can prepare basic meals and am comfortable with pets (I have cats myself). I am a warm, caring, and responsible person that love children and thinks deeply about my interactions with them.
