Hi there! I'm 21 years old and a freelance dancer and singer. I graduated from Pace University (lower Manhattan Campus) in December 2015, one semester early! I hold a degree in dance with a focus in dance pedagogy. I currently teach at 3 different dance studios in New Jersey and Staten Island to support myself in addition to babysitting. I currently live in lower Manhattan. I'm responsible, organized and punctual, but I also love to have fun and am very outgoing and positive! I've been nanny to several families since moving to New York 3 years ago. I'm extremely comfortable with all aspects of the position, from morning routines to meal prep, school pick-ups and more! My mom is a teacher, so I grew up helping her out. When I moved to New York and began teaching myself, I completely fell in love. I'm a responsible, punctual and organized person. I'm excellent at following directions and skilled at settling into a family's routine quickly. My experiences teaching many students in large classes have also made me adept at engaging and monitoring multiple kids at once. Furthermore, it is not just important to me to keep a child safe and happy, but to find ways to engage them in and facilitate small growths everyday. I would love to be your family's nanny! I'm currently looking for a summer position (beginning May 15th) several days/afternoons a week. I would be happy to work weekends as needed. Thank you for your time!
