Hi! My name is Carly Bitz and I am twenty four years old. I love working with children because I find it to be the most fulfilling and rewarding occupation. My passion has always been in the education field. I am patient, kind-hearted, and gentle. I think it is important to note that I have a sense of humor - which is necessary when working with children! I am very organized and responsible. I pride myself in my determination and ability to accomplish tasks. With my experiences, I feel extremely confident in my abilities as a babysitter/nanny. I moved to Long Island from a small town in South Dakota immediately after my high school graduation. I was a live-in nanny for a family of four children for two years. When I arrived, the children were ages 2,3,4, and 6. Two boys and two girls. The family I worked for was Read more absolutely wonderful and the children will always have a special place in my heart. Watching them learn and grow was an amazing experience. I cherish the memories, laughs, and quality time I spent with each child. After nannying, I began working at an elementary school as a teacher's aid. I enjoyed working with all different age groups (Pre-k to 6th grade) and gained experience with various teaching methods. This following year I worked as a preschool teaching assistant. I worked with children aged 3-4. I loved working with this age group, but I prefer working one-on-one with children (my classroom contained over 18 kids!) My certifications include CPR and First Aid. My future endeavors include taking furthering my education as I pursue my degree in Psychology. I am excited to find a family that is a perfect fit! Looking forward to beginning a brand new chapter in California.
