Soon after, the family moved to NJ and convinced me to continue working with them. I commuted every day by car 44 miles each way for 11 years. I worked full time until the youngest was in kindergarten and then part time after school. The part time hours allowed me the opportunity to work with other families and gain more experience with newborns and toddlers. 2006 to 2009 3 days a week I worked for a family with five children in Warren, NJ - a set of 6 year old triplets, a 19 month old and a newborn. 2006 - present, for two days a week I work in Brooklyn for a family with 2 children - When I began working the family had only one child, and since has had a second. These children are now 4 and 8 years old. 2009 to June, for 3 days a week I worked with a family in Basking Ridge, NJ. I started working here when the youngest daughter was a newborn. She is now 4 years old and starting to attend school full time in September. References available upon request.
