I am an experienced caregiver from Tennessee School for the Deaf. I have worked around high school students with autism, OCD, and emotional instability. This type of work is rewarding for me because of the students' unique perspective on life, which often makes me take a step back and consider my own life a little differently. I enjoy the challenge of seeing the world through their eyes, as much as I can, and conversely, helping them understand the world a little better from my own perspective. Specifically, I am trained in safely restraining adolescent boys having seizures. My job at TSD required me to remain at arm's length from the boy in my care and catch him in the event of any randomly occurring seizure
